OPTML Design & Fabrication combines mechanical engineering, digital design, 3D scanning, CAD development, prototyping, and hands-on fabrication.

OPTML01, our ground-up, carbon-fiber reinterpretation of the Subaru Impreza WRC S5, represents that philosophy in practice.

It's more than a showcase vehicle. It's a demonstration of the standards, capabilities, and attention to detail we bring to every project.

THE VISION.

OPTML01 is being developed around:

  • Carbon-fiber bodywork inspired by the original WRC S5 developed by The Project.

  • A turbocharged EJ25 targeting approximately 600 horsepower.

  • Six-speed manual transmission with Subaru’s legendary all-wheel drive system.

  • Rally spec wheels, suspension, braking, and supporting systems.

  • Modern amenities like navigation, audio, and camera systems discreetly integrated into a period-correct interior.

  • Bespoke CAD development, custom components, and fabrication.

Every system is approached with an emphasis on fitment, functionality, integration, and execution.

Target completion: SEMA 2027.
